March 13, 2010 - Recycling at St. Pats in Five Points
For the third year, Keep the Midlands Beautiful will be working with volunteers from the Sierra Club John Bachman Group to offer recycling at the St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival on March 13, 2010. All volunteers must be 21 or over. There are 2 shifts: 12:00 – 3:30 and 3:30 – 7:00. We will provide gloves, grabbers, and bags. Volunteers will roam the festival grounds to empty recycling bags and carry them to the designated dumpsters. E-mail heidi@keepthemidlandsbeautiful.org to volunteer.

- Recycling at Sparkleberry Fair
For the second year, Keep the Midlands Beautiful will be offering recycling at the Sparkleberry Fair. Volunteers are needed for two shifts: 12:00 - 2:30pm and 2:45-5:15pm. We will provide gloves, grabbers, and bags. Volunteers will roam the festival grounds to empty recycling bags and carry them to the designated dumpsters. E-mail heidi@keepthemidlandsbeautiful.org to volunteer. - Great Irmo Cleanup, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Volunteers will meet at Irmo Town Hall located at 7300 Woodrow Street, Irmo, SC.
- Springdale Town Cleanup Day, 9:30 - 11:30 am. Volunteers will at 9:30 am at the Felton C. Benton Park (2915 Platt Springs Road) to receive road assignments. The Town will provide water, gloves, trash bags, safety vests and lunch for all participants. Click here for more information.
