2008 Great American Cleanup: Midlands Makeover

Recycle old tires, motor oil and car batteries

Firestone Complete Auto Care locations in the City of Columbia will accept scrap tires, used oil and car batteries for recycling as part of the 2008 Great American Cleanup, coordinated by Keep the Midlands Beautiful. Firestone will accept specified recyclables until May 31.

Firestone requests that individuals call before bringing a large quantity of tires, used oil or batteries.. Participating locations include:

Richland and Lexington counties also accept used motor oil with proof of residency.
