Most Innovative Project: Second Place
Sharpes Hill Crime Watch
The Sharpes Hill Community Center in Gaston was in dire need of maintenance, so volunteers contributed 96 volunteer hours to paint the exterior and fix cracks and holes in the walls. They also planted two new trees and eight shrubs and laid mulch around the building.
