Cooper, Chanda (Richland Soil & Water Conservation District)
Mentor for: Schoolyard habitats, indoor/outdoor gardening, forestry, botany, native plants, composting, wildlife studies (Richland County schools)
As a naturalist, Chanda enjoys studying nature and helping others make discoveries about the natural world. She holds a BS in Biology and a Master’s in Earth and Environmental Resources Management from the University of South Carolina and currently serves as Education Program Coordinator for the Richland Soil & Water Conservation District and the Richland County Conservation Commission.
