Mentor for: Schoolyard wildlife habitats, composting and mercury pollution

As Director of Education, Sara coordinates the Backyard & Schoolyard Habitat Programs, the Wildlife And Industry Together (W.A.I.T.) program, Federation Field Trips, National Wildlife Week in SC, Habitat Stewards Workshops, and many other programs and events. She has a BS in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina. She received the Backyard Wildlife Habitat Certification in 2002. She has received the following awards: Richland County Master Gardener Volunteer of the Year 2003; Garden Clubs of South Carolina Presidential Service Award 2003. Sara grew up in Ohio, and moved to SC in 1995. She has two beautiful daughters
