Miller, Sheila (President, Fountain Inn Garden Club)
Mentor for: Recycling, Gardening, Composting

Sheila Miller was a second-grade teacher in Greenville County for 31 years. Recently she taught DHEC’s "Action In the Classroom" programs. As President of the Ft. Inn Garden Club, she presents programs to local schools on birds, composting, gardening and  recycling and helps plant and maintain the Fountain Inn Elementary School Tree Garden. She also works with a Synergy Vegetable Garden for families in need, the Urban Forestry program, Trees Greenville, the Greenville County Planning Commission, the Fountain Inn TREE CITY project,  and the Fountain Inn GREENWAY where a $100,000.00 grant will help create bike and walking trails to connect local subdivisions to town and schools.
