Mentor for: Sustainable agriculture and organic foods (Greenville County)
Viviane Trama is the founder and executive director of Greenville Organic Foods Organization, a 501 c (3) non-profit. She graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a Masters in Education. Being an educator at heart she always believed in the nutritional power of “real” foods. She implemented her vision to educate the community on the health and environmental benefits of sustainable agriculture and organic foods. The GOFO organization promotes awareness campaigns through film series, farm work day, school garden education, community gardens and several other sustainable initiatives. She believes that to create a healthy world we must start by educating the youth on the precious cycle of life and why it must be protected and treasured. GOFO is a reflection of this vision and her passion for living with nature not against it.
