Willingham, Alana (Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service, Cherokee County 4-H)
Mentor for: Recycling and reduction, gardening, composting, water quality, air quality, and soil/land quality

Alana educates youth, ages 5-19, in areas related to agriculture, natural resources, the environment, citizenship, leadership, science and technology, and healthy lifestyles and nutrition. Alana works with local schools on their recycling efforts, as well as with the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Upstate. She has a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics and a Master's degree in Agricultural Education, both from Clemson University. She has been through Project Learning Tree training, Action in the Classroom workshops, and is a Master Gardener.
