Curbside Recycling
- Paper: newspapers and inserts, magazines (less than 1" thick), corrugated cardboard
- Glass: none
- Metal: aluminum, steel and aerosol cans (Rinse cans. Paper labels do not need to be removed.)
- Plastic bottles and jugs #1-7: plastics must have a screw-on top or be bottle-shaped with a neck that is smaller than the base. (No egg cartons, plastic bags, yogurt/sour cream/butter tubs or other food containers that do not have a screw-on top and are not shaped like a bottle.)

- Ballentine Work Camp, 1009 Bickley Road (behind the Richland County Utilities Maintenance Building)
- Blythewood Drop-off Facility, 311 Blythewood Road (24 hours)
- Lower Richland Drop-off Center, 10531 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia (Hours: Monday - Saturday 8:00am to 5:30pm; Sunday 12:30 to 5:30pm)
- Northeast Richland Drop-Off Center, Clemson Sandhills Research & Education Center - Clemson Road across from the entrance to First Citizens and Regent Banks at the Village at Sandhill (24 hours)
- Richland County C&D Landfill, 1070 Caughman Road North, off Monticello Road, Columbia (Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:30; Saturday 7:00 am to 12:30 pm)
- Richland County Public Works, 400 Powell Road (Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 6:30 pm)
- Sonoco Recycling, 1132 Idlewilde Blvd--off of Bluff Road (24 hours)
- Paper: newspaper and inserts, magazines (less than 1" thick), corrugated cardboard, boxboard (e.g. cereal boxes), white and colored office paper
- Glass: clear, green and brown
- Metal Cans and Lids: aluminum, steel and aerosol (Rinse cans. Paper labels do not need to be removed.)
- Plastic bottles and jugs #1-7: plastics must have a screw-on top or be bottle-shaped with a neck that is smaller than the base. (No egg cartons, plastic bags, yogurt/sour cream/butter tubs or other food containers that do not have a screw-on top and are not shaped like a bottle.)
- Electronic waste (Lower Richland and landfill only): old computers, monitors, fax machines and other office equipment (TVs, radios, and VCRS are not accepted)
- Tires (landfill only): up to 5 tires without rims
