Curbside Recycling

  • Paper: newspapers and inserts, magazines
  • Metal Cans: aluminum, steel
  • Plastic bottles and jugs #1-7: plastics must have a screw-on top or be bottle-shaped with a neck that is smaller than the base. (No egg cartons, plastic bags, yogurt/sour cream/butter tubs or other food containers that do not have a screw-on top and are not shaped like a bottle.)

  • Other: batteries (vehicle and small lead acid, ni-cad and alkaline); foam rubber, metals (stoves, grills, etc.); used motor oil (5 gallon limit), oil filters and oil bottles; black nursery containers and bedding trays; textiles (clothing, shoes, sheets, etc.).
  • Landfill accepts tires, white goods.
