Keep the Midlands Beautiful Student Advisory Board

The Keep the Midlands Beautiful Student Advisory Board is made up of area high school students who want to help improve the community and environment and have a great time doing it! The KMB Student Advisory Board expands participation in beautification, waste reduction, recycling, and litter prevention activities among area high school students.
During the 2009-2010 school year, the Keep the Midlands Beautiful Student Advisory Board worked to help the Midlands kick the plastic bag habit. Advisory Board members developed group projects designed to reduce the use of plastic shopping bags and increase awareness of reusable bags, while gaining valuable leadership skills and community service experience.
